The project supported the Nyamirambo Women’s Center, an NGO in Rwanda that provides education and support to women who have been affected by these issues of domestic violence and discrimination. The NGO earns some income by selling the products tailored by the women they support, as well as conducting a Nyamirambo walking tour business and cooking / food tastings for tourists. HKU students through the local Davis College students worked closely to plan and implement digital solutions to help further the work of the local NGO.
