Yes, prior teaching hours completed before registration can be counted. However, the student must still complete a minimum of two types of teaching, with each type constituting at least 30% of the total teaching hours.
Students have up to 18 months from registration to complete the programme. Final year students have an earlier deadline and must submit their portfolio on or before May 20 of their graduation year, as they must still be undergraduates at submission.
The word limit the STaR Teaching Portfolio is 1,500 words. The document must use plain text and in PDF format. No images, tables or diagrams should be included.
