Abstract

A good poster in education can look very different from a good poster in civil engineering. So what exactly are we asking our students for, and how do we know when they’ve delivered it?

This hands-on workshop explores how to design and assess poster assignments that suit your discipline. It draws on real student work from across HKU and on what the Communication-Intensive Course’s Visual and Digital Resources (VADR) team has learned from helping students turn rough drafts into posters that work.
