The initiative is overseen by the Communication-Intensive Courses Committee and supported by the leadership of the Senior Management Team—and in particular with the guidance of Professor Ian Holliday, the Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Teaching & Learning.

Committee Members

The committee is composed of representatives from key academic units of the university, appointed by Vice President of Teaching & Learning. The committee oversees quality assurance through the final approval and review of the peer-reviewed courses and is responsible for the strategic decision-making of the initiative. This dual role helps maintain the integrity and efficacy of the program, while ensuring the continuous adaptation of the initiative to align with the demands of industry and society. The committee also communicates recommendations regarding course approval to the Faculty Boards and equivalents, such as Common Core Curriculum Committee (CCCC) and the Committee on Chinese and English Language Enhancement (CCELE).
