“Turn your CIC learning into real-world communication“
DISTINGUISHED
COMMUNICATOR AWARD
Hello & welcome
Welcome to the HKU Distinguished Communicator Award (DCA)!
This award is for students who love to communicate, create, and make an impact—whether that’s through presentations, podcasts, campaigns, debates, design work, or research sharing. If you’ve been building your skills in spoken, written, visual, and digital communication through CiC courses and real-life experiences, the DCA is your chance to pull it all together and get recognised for it.

Why should you apply?
This award is for students who are already communicating, creating, leading, and collaborating—and want that work to count for more. By pulling together what you have done in CiC courses and real-world experiences into a short multimedia portfolio and video resume, you can be recognised with a university-level honour that is noted on your transcript, celebrated with a medal at graduation, and signals to future employers and programmes that you communicate with confidence and impac
